IN MEMORY OF MY BELOVED FATHER, AFFINITY PATIENT ADVOCACY WAS ESTABLISHED, NOT MERELY AS A TRIBUTE, BUT AS A LIVING TESTAMENT TO HIS LEGACY.

CHRISTINA DIARCANGELO's my father, Albert J. DiArcangelo, Sr.

Today, we gather not only to remember a remarkable man but also to celebrate a legacy that continues to inspire and uplift us. Albert J. DiArcangelo, Sr., a loving father, a devoted husband, and a true beacon of compassion, left us on October 13, 2015. Though he may have departed from this world, his spirit lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him, within my son, Christian, and my life, and it is through his memory that we find the strength to carry forward a noble cause in his honor.

Albert, Al, Archie or DiArc as many affectionately knew him, was a man of boundless kindness and generosity. His life was marked by a deep commitment to helping others with labor issues, and his unwavering dedication to supporting those in need was truly exemplary. He possessed an innate ability to empathize with the struggles of others, a quality that endeared him to many.

As a father, Albert instilled in his children the values of compassion, integrity, and the importance of making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. His profound influence laid the foundation for a remarkable journey that would eventually lead to the creation of Affinity Patient Advocacy.

In memory of my beloved father, Affinity Patient Advocacy was established, not merely as a tribute, but as a living testament to his legacy. Through this organization, we continue his life's work of extending a helping hand to those navigating the complexities of healthcare and advocating for the vulnerable among us. Affinity Patient Advocacy embodies the principles Al held dear: the belief in the inherent worth of every individual, the power of empathy, and the capacity to effect positive change in the lives of others. My father used to provide a voice to the people who he represented in the Steelworker’s Union as well as the Teamsters. He was a man who weaved loyalty, respect, and support with all of those that he met.

In his honor, we strive to be the voice for those who may not be heard, to provide comfort to those in distress, and to empower individuals and families as they face the challenges of the healthcare system. Albert DiArcangelo, Sr.'s memory is the driving force behind our mission, and every act of kindness, every life improved through Affinity Patient Advocacy, is a testament to his enduring legacy.

Though my son and I may still feel the ache of his absence, we are comforted by the knowledge that his spirit continues to shine brightly through the work Affinity Patient Advocacy does in his honor. Albert J. DiArcangelo, Sr. touched the lives of many, and today, as we remember him with love and gratitude, we are reminded that his legacy is not just a memory but a living force that continues to make the world a better place.

In memory of Albert J. DiArcangelo, Sr., and in dedication to Affinity Patient Advocacy, we will always move forward with the same unwavering commitment to compassion, advocacy, and service that he exemplified throughout his life. May his memory forever inspire us to be kinder, more compassionate, and ever vigilant in our pursuit of a better world for all.

Rest in peace, my dear father, Albert J. DiArcangelo, Sr., your legacy lives on.
